In late February, video production firm BreadNBeyond published an infographic showing the state of video marketing in 2018. The infographic is broken down by social network and gives us a look at a number of statistics and up-and-coming trends.
Some interesting takeaways include:
- 90% of Twitter video views happen on mobile
- Videos shot with a square aspect ratio get 35% more views and 80% more engagement than videos shot in a horizontal aspect ratio
- Brands will start to take their Instagram feed's aesthetics more seriously
