Post original (and engaging) content

Make sure you're consistently posting new content to your LinkedIn company page.

This can be a mixture of things, but some low-hanging fruit includes links to blog posts, videos, and infographics. This content is shareable and will keep your followers updated.

For example, we share our blog posts to the Digital Marketing group on LinkedIn from time to time. This drives traffic and helps us build brand authority on the topics we write about.

Just a word of caution though. Always make sure to read the group rules before you post. Some groups prohibit self-promotion, and you could be banned for posting it.

Upload LinkedIn videos frequently

Last but not least: use visual media in your social media posts. Preferably video.

LinkedIn launched its native video platform last year and has seen a huge amount of engagement since launch. In fact, 38% of marketers used LinkedIn video last year, and 75% of those that did found it to be an effective marketing strategy.

But don't worry: you don't need to be a video expert to make a LinkedIn video.

Just come up with a few topics you're knowledgeable on, write a script, and film the video with your smartphone. Edit using iMovie or another free editing app, and you can post the video right from your phone.

Post the video to company's page, or post it to your personal page and tag your company page.
